GCDA is re-opening its popular farmers' market in Pegler Square on Sunday June 4th after an extensive community consultation.

The newly named Kidbrooke Village Market, which will take place on the first Sunday of every month will be THE place to go and stock up on great quality essentials such as local fruit, vegetables, meat, bread and cheese. In addition to the fabulous produce on offer, there will be street food stalls as well as occasional music and entertainment events.

GCDA originally launched its Sunday Brunch Market in Kidbrooke in 2021, but it was paused this winter to allow for the community to have its say on what it needed most from a street market.

"We’re really excited to be relaunching in Pegler Square. After consulting with local people we’ve brought together a whole new range of local producers so that people can stock up on the very best of British. We've put alot of effort into sourcing new suppliers - and we really feel we've hit the sweet spot.”

Christina Reynolds, GCDA Market Manager

So far 14 exciting food businesses have signed up for the market including The Very Green Grocer, Gourmet Sausage Maker, Campbell's Chutneys, Hops & Hampers, Beau Petit Macarons, Nuts 4 Honey and The Greenwich Tea Company. In addition, a variety of street food traders will offer high quality, imaginative food-to-go.

The market will be open from 11am-3pm on Sunday 4th June at Pegler Square, Kidbrooke, SE3 9GW. It will run on the first Sunday of the month thereafter. Please help us spread the word!
