About the event

For participants of the Kidbrooke Community Sewing Club, it is recommended to bring the following basic tools:

1. Fabric Scissors: Sharp scissors specifically for cutting fabric.

2. Pins and Pincushion: For holding fabric pieces together while sewing.

3. Measuring Tape: Essential for accurate measurements.

4. Sewing Needles: For hand sewing tasks.

5. Seam Ripper: Useful for removing stitches.

6. Tailor's Chalk or Fabric Markers: For marking fabric.

7. Thread: Basic colors (white, black, and a color matching your project).

8. Fabric: For your specific project.

9. Thimble: To protect your fingers during hand sewing.

If you get the above listed, that will be great.

Feel free to attend if you don’t have all of the above, I believe others will be willing to share

The below will be provided by LUHOC Fashion (Tutor)

- Sewing Machine:LUHOC will provide sewing machines.

- Rotary Cutter and Cutting Mat: For easier fabric cutting.

- Iron and Ironing Board: For pressing seams.

- Pattern Paper: to create or modify patterns.

- ⁠there will be sales of tracing paper if anyone wants to create a pattern .

Having these tools will help ensure a productive and enjoyable experience at the sewing club.
